Aidan: Model
A short while ago, Aidan and I were having coffee or going to the gym, as we regularly do, when he casually mentions that “yesterday I spent my lunch hour at a photo shoot.” Having never previously known Aidan to have a photo shoot, I figured he meant he went out to a site somewhere and took some photos of a building (as young architects do on a fairly regular basis). As the conversation progressed it became apparent that, in fact, he had been called up by a photographer who asked him if he would like to be a model in her photo shoot. He agreed and Aidan: Model was born.
The photos from said photo shoot were to appear, a short time later, on the side of a building. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts I was unable to get any evidence that they did because he wouldn’t tell me (or didn’t know) where this building was. (Obviously, due to his new status as Model, I was beginning to think it was the latter.) But after that, I found gathering evidence that Aidan was indeed becoming a Model through and through turned into somewhat of a trivial exercise. One could say it was as easy as finding patently unwearable clothes on a catwalk.
I present exhibit one; a series of photos clearly demonstrating his willingness to pose.

Exhibit two cemented in my mind that Aidan has indeed become a Model. The following conversation took place after soccer while discussing the various injuries we have suffered.
Ego
I did an ego Google this morning and was pleasantly surprised. The results of searching for my first and last name without quotes showed only one (the third last) result that wasn’t about me on the first page.
A Google for my full name with quotes was even more impressive:

The “rest” is over and I’ve done sweet FA
Well, the uni holidays have come to an end and that sucks. I was getting used to having my weekends free. It has been a while since my last post so I figured I’d roll a whole bunch of stuff into this one.
The weekend was a lot of fun and mainly consisted of Tony’s bucks party - skirmish & barbecue before the obligatory trip into town to hang out at some pubs, etc. From the barbecue we ordered two maxi-taxis to cater for the large crowd of people who wanted to go in. Exactly zero of these turned up. We did eventually get two regular taxis but the third (even after multiple calls to different cab companies) never showed, so we ended up walking all the way into the city.
I’m still working on One Thousand Words [alpha] and have begun the process of migrating my existing photo album over.
I also tried to implement Extended Live Archives over the weekend but didn’t have much luck. I’m not sure yet what I’m doing wrong. Super Archives worked without any problem but I haven’t styled yet. The archives page is here. It will look nicer soon.
It was great to see Nathan and Dad last week after such a long time. The house is almost exactly as I remember it and it was great to be back there. We are going back next weekend as well to see Nathan in his high school musical. They have been saving a part for him and he gets only 10 days to rehearse. Good luck.
Flight BI071 from Brunei

The estimation was a tad optimistic…but aren’t they always? And I was the first to hug.
