Taking over the world

Google SMS LogoI’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. Google is taking over the world. The latest work of brilliance[1] is the most fantastic Google SMS. Trying it out is now high on my list of stuff to do when I visit America next month. This service can get you information on:

  • local business listings
  • driving directions
  • movie show times and theatre locations
  • weather conditions and 4-day forecasts
  • latest stock quotes
  • quick answers to straightforward questions
  • online product prices; and
  • dictionary definitions

I’m a little bitter that it’s not available in Australia just like so many other great Google products and services, including Froogle, Local, Maps and more.
