Recently Skippy asked, 'why do you blog?' I was commenting on that and it got kind of long, so I thought I'd record it here. The short answer is, I don't know, and I'm not sure I need to know. But since this is all about figuring out the answer, I guess I'll play along.

A while ago I was asked by my employer to write a short article on something web related to add some decent content to the company's new website. I ended up writing a short article on blogging for business promotion which included a short (and very incomplete) list of what I think are essential elements that must be included to count a website as a blog.

Well, th' RSVP date has come an' gone, an' thar be only a couple o' stragglers; 't looks as tho we be goin' t' be havin' a pretty full restaurant fer th' reception.
