A while ago now, Jeremy Keith released Huffduffer a new social bookmarking site specifically for audio files, which turns your 'huffduffed' links into a convenient personalised podcast for you to subscribe to. Redesign: Habari and HTML5

What seems like a long time ago now, I discovered an open source project called Habari. Here was this relatively small group of people, a few of whom I was already paying attention to1, building a new blogging platform. For whatever reason, it caught my attention, and I'm very glad it did. I spent hour upon hour avoiding work and learning about Habari. The more I dug into the source the more it opened my eyes to what elegant PHP looked like. The MVC pattern and some of the class patterns used in the Habari codebase are beautiful things. You might have noticed a change.

Yep, I've applied another mask to the increasingly pocked face of sw'as. I had been preparing for full on facelift, but I've since decided on a more holistic approach is what's required. This little corner of the 'net will soon be joining the growing number of corners powered by Habari. Hence I've decided not to bother going nuts with a redisign and writing a new theme for WordPress which I'll just have to convert. It might take a bit longer, but it'll be worth it.
